Casa Paz

A private concrete retreat unfolding to the sea

Casa Paz is a three-level concrete residence designed to engage the dramatic coastal landscape of Puerto Rico’s west coast. Elevated above an existing structure, the home organizes living spaces vertically so each level captures expansive ocean and sunset views.

The central floor acts as the social heart of the house, where an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area flows onto a pool terrace oriented toward the horizon. A restrained palette of concrete, glass, and steel, combined with large openings and shaded terraces, allows the architecture to respond to the tropical climate while creating a seamless connection between interior spaces and the surrounding Caribbean landscape.
